Message from Mrs. Reid
Welcome to Risen Christ Lutheran School’s website. Risen Christ is a warm and caring school that is made up of an excellent staff, a great student body and supportive parents
Risen Christ Lutheran School provides an excellent learning environment for children beginning at age 3 continuing through fourth grade. Our preschool program, under the direction of Cindy Knowlton, Preschool Director, teaches readiness skills through developmentally appropriate activities; carefully balancing the academic and the social needs of the child. Our elementary students are involved in an academic program that not only challenges all students but also teaches them the study skills and self-responsibility necessary to reach their potential. Limiting class size to fourteen students ensures personal attention, allowing each child to be treated as a unique and special creation of God.
It is our vision to partner and support families in educating their children. The quality of our future will be significantly influenced by today’s students who are well educated, who think critically, who act with courage and compassion and whose faith is informed and lively. These values, taught at Risen Christ Lutheran School, complement the values desired by your family.
We are pleased to be able to offer before and after school extended care from 7:30 A.M. until 5:30 P.M. on school days. Free bus transportation is also available in a limited area.
If you have any questions please feel free to call the school office at 937-323-3688. I am happy to answer any questions you may have, as well as meet with you in order to share more information. If you would like to tour our campus, meet with me, a teacher or visit a classroom, please call and make an appointment.
Thank you for the opportunity to share our mission and give you information about our school. We look forward to meeting you and helping you give your child the gift that lasts a lifetime, an education at Risen Christ Lutheran School.
Yours in Christ,
Rebecca S. Reid
