Grade One - Miss Heather Sharp
Miss Sharp, originally from Lisbon, Ohio will be teaching 1st grade. She graduated this past Spring from Wittenberg University with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. During her time at Wittenberg, she had the pleasure of completing field experience in numerous Springfield City Elementary Schools. She also spent some time doing field experience and substitute teaching in the Tecumseh School District.
During the past four summers, she worked for Lutheran Outdoor Ministries of Ohio at Camp Frederick and at the Lutheran Memorial Camp. At these camps, she led Lutheran Bible studies, taught environmental education and partook in many high adventure, outdoor activities. She has also participated in Spokefolk in five different states. Spokefolk is a Lutheran biking ministry that focuses on spreading the gospel through music and bicycling.

Home Work
Homework is assigned Monday through Thursday. The children have a Bible verse to memorize weekly, spelling words, math and high-frequency words. They are asked to read to someone at home for at least 20 minutes each day.
