Before/After Care Program
- The hours of the program are from 7:00 am to 8:30 am and 3:00 p, to 5:30 pm
- Children will transition to their classroom from 8:15 to 8:30 am. Help will be
provided with hanging up coats, lunchboxes, restroom, and getting to the correct
classroom.
- After school, children will play outside or inside, weather permitting. There will be
a small box of toys, boards games, coloring items and card games available for the
children. In addition, there are a variety of videos. If a child has any toys, games, or
videos that they would like to bring (or donate) to keep in the before/after care room,
they may do so and they will be labeled with the child’s name.
- Breakfast and Snacks.
- If your child needs to eat breakfast at school care, please send ready-to-eat items.
- Students are served a snack in after-school care. Each family is asked to bring a snack and a drink once a month to share with all of the children. If each family does this, we should have enough to last the month. If children have special needs or tastes, something can be brought in and labeled with the child’s name. Please keep nutrition in mind when choosing snacks.
